An Interesting Few days
Looking back on the past few days, I would have to say the most interesting part was seeing Da Vincis drawings come to life in the models. It was interesting to see what could have been and all the awesome ideas he had in his mind. I particularly enjoyed the quote from the guide when he said imagine what Da Vince could have done with engines.

Yeahhhhh. I was thoroughly impressed by the engineers who explored and deciphered DaVinci's drawings. I'm still a bit confused on how the engineers knew how to make the loom that DaVinci drew. I looke at it and the sketch seemed very minimal but thee actual mechanical machine was very complex.
ReplyDeleteI loved seeing his drawings next to an interpretation of how modern engineers interpreted them and actually constructed models. It really seemed to help some of the more complex machines or vaguely drawn concepts come to life. I also find it amazing people were able to analyze that singular side view of the loom and get such a complicated machine.
