PACCE Project

While scraping I was talking with these two women from America that now live in Italy, and they were telling me of the neighborhoods who do Retake Roma. From their experiences they told me about how this site was not as bad as others they had worked on, along with how the people are loving having their city be clean. It was interesting how Americans who live there started this program while the Italians are starting to come together as a community and are starting to clean.

    That's so sad that there are sites that are even dirtier. Americans rock at trying to make a difference! (:

    It was a very interesting experience. I myself had a random guy come and tap me on the shoulder to smile at me and say something that sounded good.

    I agree and it makes me proud to be an American where we continue to make differences around the world! Hopefully the Italians will realise the benefits of cleaning up!

    I can't imagine cleaning up those worse sites. It was quite a bit of work to clean up the site we did, I would not like to see a more difficult one.
