The leaning tower of pisa was amazing! I never knew that the builders tried to make sone levels of the tower levels to attemptto fix the problem but only seemed to make it worse. The church and grounds surrounding the tower were also quite beautiful.
I agree! Very cool to see a tower leaning so great and continuing to stand for over 800 years.

ReplyDeleteYes, the tower is so unique because of the mistake, but now it is so beautiful because of it!
ReplyDeleteI wish I could have been around to see how they determined how much was added to each side. Did they have any rhyme or reason? Or did they just guestimate?
